I had to chuckle about my weekend and dreams. Oh, to dream that my garden shed was cleaned out. Yes, a nightmare! Can you believe my oldest son and family came over and said "let's do it". Do you know how fast and enjoyable it was with family's help? Amazing how even nightmare's can turn into wonderful days! Here's to a great week ahead!

I got to have a wonderful weekend with my sister and our kids. We went to the Sister's Quilt Show. It was a wonderful time, we finished there then headed over to the lake to let the kids swim for a while before heading home. It was a wonderful 85 degrees and had a nice breeze for the day. The quilts were amazing, I could not believe that my 5 year old nephew had a blast, he was right next to me taking pictures of the "night nights" with me. He was even pointing out quilts I should take pictures of. The ladies there were just in awe watching this little boy love to get his own pictures of the quilts. He I think was a bigger hit than the quilts. He received all kinds of things from people, he left with kettle korn, a hot wheels car, and even kept receiving cold water and juices from the people around. My daughter was laughing at it all most of the time too.

I knitted, played with friends from college {in a completely un inappropriate way!} and actually sewed two quilt blocks!
